The Pixelverse is part of a 12-year journey exploring the native graphics of Tucumán. It is now a work in progress. The evolving Pixelverse showcases travels, archaeology, maps, sketches, and pixel art inspired by stone carvings and cave paintings.

Expanding a vast universe of characters, landscapes, backgrounds, and much more set in a pixelated future — in the valleys and Yungas region — while simultaneously building a game and interactive explorations.

The project began as an effort to support artists from Tucumán and other peripheral areas of Argentina in exploring the possibilities of the digital world. With limited access to resources and knowledge of web3 in these regions, the initiative focused on learning and creating opportunities for local art to connect with this emerging space, showcasing the cultural richness of the area.
